What is your tendency?
You all come into this life with a certain propensity to see things in a certain way.
Some of you come in always seeing the glass as half full, while others see it as half empty.
If you tend to see the negative first, that doesn’t mean you are less than anyone else.
It simply means you came here with a stronger desire to expand and grow.
You actually have the greater capacity to create joy because you come from a negative place first.
The trouble is when you get stuck in these patterns and don’t decide to grow past them.
If you have people in your life who see things from this negative vantage point, you may judge them and feel they are wrong.
But they are really here to show you what you don’t want so you can choose what you do more strongly.
If you would like to overcome this negative tendency, you must first be aware that you are doing it.
Then, it’s important to catch it in the beginning and ask, “What do I really want to happen in this situation?”
You may have to ask yourself over and over again to change the neural pattern and begin beaming the signal to more optimal outcomes.
If you don’t believe you hold that much power, then it’s time to start researching and listening to things that activate your memory.
Remembering that you have the power to hone your focus allows you to see that attention transform your life.
It’s important to realize that if you have a lot of negativity around you, then it’s time to look inside and see what kind of signal you are sending.
Listen to your words and, most importantly, pay attention to the way you feel.
Your emotions emit energy that calls more of that energy back to you.
Don’t you want to see life through the lens of good things coming?
It will take your determination to turn the tides in your favor.
But once you get the hang of it, life becomes easier, and it is easier to feel gratitude for another wonderful day.
